Product information
Petoneer PF009 NutriCare Feeder is a smart feeder for households with one or more pets. The device uses RFID Tags to identify pets, allowing access to the food to be configured for each tag. When an authorized pet with a tag approaches, the lid opens automatically and closes after the pet leaves.
1. RFID pet identification
In Authorized Mode, the food tray lid opens automatically only when it detects an authorized RFID Tag. After the pet leaves the feeding area, the lid closes automatically; the closing delay can be configured in the app.
This feature is especially useful in homes with multiple pets where access to each food tray needs to be controlled.
2. Link up to 10 RFID Tags
Petoneer PF009 supports linking up to 10 RFID Tags in Authorized Mode. The Xmart catalog describes this accordingly as one device that can be linked to 10 RFID Tags for 10 pets.
3. Three operating modes
PF009 offers 3 usage modes:
- Authorized Mode: opens only for authorized RFID Tags.
- Sensor Mode: the lid opens automatically when a pet is detected nearby and closes after the pet leaves.
- Manual Mode: users manually open/close the lid using the button; RFID and sensor functions are disabled in this mode.
4. Control and setup via the Petoneer App
PF009 can connect to the Petoneer App. Users can add devices and manage RFID Tags in the app's access authorization settings.
5. 400mL food tray capacity
The food tray has an official capacity of 400mL (1.69 cups). It is a meal-sized feeding tray, not a large food compartment like those found in traditional automatic dry food dispensers.
6. Includes a cooling ice pack
There is a compartment for an Ice Pack beneath the food tray. According to Petoneer's instructions, the ice pack must be frozen before use. The manufacturer also notes that the Ice Pack should not be used when feeding dry food.
7. Two power supply methods
The PF009 can operate using:
4 LR14 batteries or a DC 5V⎓1A power supply. When batteries and USB power are used simultaneously, the device prioritizes USB power.
The user manual also states that 4 high-quality alkaline batteries may last approximately 120 days under the manufacturer's usage conditions; actual battery life depends on usage frequency and operating conditions.
8. Compact size
The PF009 measures 240 × 220 × 205 mm and has a net weight of approximately 1.108 kg, making it suitable for placement in an indoor pet feeding area.
